This swordfish image is made with resin and crushed seashells. The artwork is done on repurposed wood from Legacy Architectural Salvage, a non-profit out of Wilmington, NC.

Proceeds benefit the Historic Wilmington Foundation, who works every day to keep historic buildings in Wilmington intact and in place. But when a structure is facing demolition, Legacy Architectural Salvage serves as the best-case option in a worst-case scenario. When a building is unable to be saved, Legacy steps in to save irreplaceable pieces of our past.

Tracey purchases pieces of this salvaged wood and creates her shell and resin artwork on of them.
