In this class, you will be provided with an already drawn image of a Great Blue Heron. The instructor will guide you through the process of "filling in" your drawing, to help you create the finished painting. This is a step by step process, and all levels are welcome! All materials will be provided, and you will be able to take home your finished painting at the end of the evening.

This is a 3 hour class with a break halfway through. Only 6 spaces available to ensure each student receives plenty of guidance. The cost is $100 per student.

Feel free to bring snacks and drinks - alcohol is permitted.

Instructor Bio:

Zak is a graduate of UNCW and has a Masters in Painting from the Academy of Art, San Francisco. He is a member of the Wilmington Art Association and the Thrive Artist Collective, and has participated in artist colonies, solo exhibitions, and nearly thirty group shows.  

Zak has developed an eclectic body of work over the course of his artistic career, including figure paintings in oil, flora and fauna in watercolor, and landscapes in a multitude of mediums. He currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he teaches at Cape Fear Community College and produces paintings and illustrations from his private studio in the home he shares with his wife and son.

No refunds or credits for no shows; your payment is forfeited if you fail to show up for the class. Please understand, materials/supplies for classes are purchased based on ticket sales, so short cancellation notice costs the shop and it's teachers money.
